Enjoy the buffet. Always something I like

Buffet offered some healthy choices and lots of deep fried items I avoided. I enjoyed beef+ broccoli in black bean sauce, mixed vegetables and fruit for dessert. Won ton soup also okay. Seems like good menu selection. Basic food, okay selection. Ambience is a diner with little to inspire you. Bathroom was needing tidying. Servers were friendly and did well.

Gross unfortunately used to be better then rest in YK food had egg shells in black bean and beef even the beer was warm.

Friendly n fast...Its Always a pleasant place to eat with family and friends. The atmosphere is always awesome, food is great...yum yum.

I always get the combo B and this time it let me down big time. The sweet and sour sauce was obviously changed to a canned or bottled product, and the whole meal was bland as hell.

Really good Chinese food. The serving size is huge and quite budget friendly as well. The soups are delicious and the ambience and service is good.

Place never been renovated for years, awful chef, food. Place needs a new menu and new kitchen.

Average food. Did not include cutlery or chopsticks in a stapled take-out bag. Ate chow mein and rice with a hotel room key. Styrofoam tray not divided so everything was "sweet and sour"

The food is pathetic, an extra star for the service which is exceptional.

Chinese buffet lunch or dinner is very tasty.

Only tried their asian food, everything taste good except for the fried rice that comes together with the combo. The fried rice taste weird and doesn't taste like normal fried rice. Maybe ask to substitute the fried rice to white rice if you are ordering the combo. The meat, vege and sauce taste good.

How to say, the best tomato soup ever in my life. Wonderful begin of 2020. Hope this can bring luck to me and friends of mine.

Great food and very good service. If you want some real Chinese food after days out on your vacation, this is the place. We order some noodle soup and it taste just like the one we make it home. Definitely go back again.

They have lunch and dinner buffet. Not too bad, but they are not my cup of tea. I go for some true Chinese dishes.

Eating here is like an adventure back in time to the highschool cafeteria. The waiters don't speak English well. The food is either deep-fried or processed. Go there with a smile expecting a joke, because you'll laugh at the end walking out.

The food is quick and tasty. I can't prepare a meal as fast for my fussy family, so when we are hungry, we go to the Red Apple. The staff are friendly and our cups are never empty. A favourite for the family is the special chow mein. My son loves the grill cheese. My personal choice is won ton with noodle. For an affordable diner experience, I recommend the Red Apple.

A solid pick for breakfast and they serve an awesome stir-fry as well. The staff here are kind and helpful, and very attentive. I never have to ask for more coffee or water here- they take good care of you.

Good service, coffee cup always full

Personal opinion but I was hoping for a few more items for the buffet but there was little choice and little variation within that choice. The food was ok quality but I can not comment on the food from the menu as I didn't order from it. The staff was sufficient, overall I don't think I would return.

Down to earth place with good reasonably priced food

Buffet is always cold, they leave the food uncovered. They bread their shrimp with the legs and shell on...my mum found out the hard way. What's the point of the breading? Brought it up with the waiter and he just said that's how they do it. Bathrooms are gross. Service is ok.

In a remote town with ok Chinese food is surprising. It’s good comfort food

OMG YES! Definitely have lunch here. I always try to get a few meals here when visiting Yellowknife. Excellent food, attentive staff, lots of room and fair prices. Close to everything downtown, too.

chinese cuisine buffet

We go there for white fish. Pan fried whitefish comes with either cooked or fried rice or fries.There's also excellent buffet.

Friendly and considerate people. Very authentic and delicious Chinese food. Recommend!
